Press and media

Media companies are obligated to comply with the principles of media law, in particular relating to due publishing and journalistic care, in reporting matters. The content, origin and truthfulness of the news must be checked before publication and may not be published in distorted form. Persons affected by media reports are increasingly defending themselves against reporting that in their opinion is incorrect and are filing claims for forbearance, elimination or reply or even claims due to breach of individual rights. We advise you on the checking of critical formulations and in the averting of claims. To hone awareness of the problem, we also conduct in-house training courses for journalists and interested employees.

In addition, we represent media companies in all legal matters, in particular also in supervisory law proceedings before the state media authorities.
