Background
Stefan Uhlhorn has been practising as an attorney at Schindhelm in Osnabrück since 2022. From 2005 to 2022, he worked at a law firm in Frankfurt am Main specialising in civil and employment law.
He studied law at the University of Bremen from 1997 to 2002, passing the First State Examination in 2002 and the Second State Examination in 2004 following his legal clerkship in the district of the Oldenburg Higher Regional Court.
Stefan Uhlhorn advises and represents domestic and international companies as well as senior executives in all aspects of individual and collective employment law, both out-of-court and in litigation.
A key focus of his practice is litigation before labor courts, negotiations with works councils, and the drafting of executive and employment contracts.
Advising a mid-sized manufacturing company on the complete reduction of its workforce following the opening of insolvency proceedings, including negotiations with the works council on a reconciliation of interests and social plan.
Advising a wholesale company on the closure of one of its German sites, including negotiations with the works council on a reconciliation of interests and social plan as well as representation in conciliation board proceedings.
Advising and representing a mid-sized company in connection with its withdrawal from an employers’ association and the resulting termination of collective bargaining coverage, including the implementation of the related employment law measures.
