Background
Marcin Śledzikowski has been with SDZLEGAL Schindhelm since July 2013.
From 2008 to 2013 he studied law at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław. He received his Master of Laws degree with honours in 2013. In 2012, he graduated from the American Law School organized by the Chicago-Kent College of Law.
In September 2014, he passed the examination for legal advisor traineeship, at the District Board of the Chamber of Legal Advisors in Wrocław. Since January 2018, he has been entered in the list of legal advisors kept by the District Board of Chamber of Legal Advisors in Wrocław. From 2014 to 2017, as a member of the Department of Commercial Law at the University of Wroclaw, he taught classes for full-time and part-time law students, with a particular focus on commercial law issues. In October 2017, he defended his doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics, entitled. "Legal effects of granting discharge to the members of the board of directors of a limited liability company", which was published in print. In 2018, he completed postgraduate studies in tax consulting at the Wrocław University of Economics.
Since September 2020 he has been a partner of SDZEGAL Schindhelm.
He sits on the supervisory boards of public companies (including those with State Treasury shareholding) listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange and in the alternative trading system NewConnect, from the new technology, energy, IT and e-commerce sectors.
He is the author of numerous press articles, scientific papers, commentaries or monographs on commercial, civil, family law, new technologies, civil proceedings and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). He has been an expert in legislative processes.

Marcin Śledzikowski advises domestic and foreign clients in the areas of commercial contract law, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and corporate disputes (litigation with elements of commercial law). At SDZLEGAL Schindhelm he works in the corporate law and M&A department and heads the corporate dispute resolution practice.
As part of his specialization in the field of corporate law, Marcin Śledzikowski provides the clients with comprehensive advisory services related to the day-to-day operations of commercial law companies, associations and foundations. It covers every stage of an entity's functioning, from its establishment to its liquidation. Marcin Śledzikowski also deals with preparation and implementation of reorganisation or restructuring plans of enterprises, including cross-border transactions. In addition, he advises on the sale of businesses on both the buyer and seller side (asset-deal and
share-deal transactions), which includes comprehensive support throughout the transaction process.
Marcin Śledzikowski also advises clients who are public companies on their compliance with corporate governance rules and their obligations in connection with their status. He sits on the supervisory boards of leading companies on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in the energy sector, new technologies, IT, e-commerce, as an independent expert (board member), including those with State Treasury shareholding.
As part of his corporate litigation practice, Marcin Śledzikowski represents both shareholders and companies in resolving complex issues often arising from conflicts of interest between different stakeholder groups of an entity. It deals mainly with the creation of solutions ensuring maximum transparency in their implementation by companies and their owners. He conducts negotiations with individual participants in corporate disputes aimed at working out compromise solutions enabling entities to conduct their business activity in an undisturbed manner. He also represents shareholders and companies in court proceedings concerning corporate aspects of their operations, in particular in proceedings to annul or revoke resolutions of bodies of capital companies. Marcin Śledzikowski also advises minority shareholders of public companies in delisting processes of such entities and in connection with announced compulsory buyouts.
With regard to commercial contract law, Marcin Śledzikowski both drafts contracts on behalf of national and international clients and gives opinions on their content. This applies to both framework agreements and agreements tailored to specific business relationships. The scope of advice provided by Marcin Śledzikowski primarily includes supply, transport, agency, sale, exchange, technology transfer and copyright transfer agreements. Marcin Śledzikowski also assists in resolving disputes arising in connection with executed agreements, both before and at the court stage.
