Edda de Riese has been working for Schindhelm in Osnabrück since 2016.
After gaining her license to practice as a lawyer in 2004, she initially worked in the law office of Rosentreter & Partner in Hannover. From 2006 on she was Partner in the law firm Helms, Nolte, Klenzner in Hannover before she become in-house counsel at the investment firm ACRON GmbH in Düsseldorf in 2009. From 2001 until 2016 she was employed by Bethge, a real estate law firm in Hannover.
After passing her Second State Exam, she began – in August 2005 – studying law as a part of a master’s program (LL.M. for Foreign Trained Attorneys) at the University of Texas at Austin, USA. The program was also successfully completed in May of 2006.
After passing the first state examination in law in the year 2001, the legal clerkship at the higher regional court at Celle followed. Edda de Riese took her second state examination in law in the year 2004.
Edda de Riese studied law at the Universities of Osnabrück and Hannover from 1996 till 2001.
Edda de Riese has extensive experience in advising in the field of real estate law, especially regarding commercial leases.
A special focus lays on advising lessors regarding office and retail spaces.
Edda de Riese lectures and publishes on regular basis in particular on topics of lease law and public procurement law.
Edda de Riese is also admitted to the New York State Bar.
