Anke Brinkhus has worked as a lawyer for Schindhelm in Hanover since 2004.
After her law degree at the University of Osnabrück from 1995 to 2000, she completed the graduate course in corporate criminal law from 2000 to 2001, gaining the qualification: Master of Laws (LL.M.). From 2001 to 2003, she trained at the Oldenburg district Higher Regional Court.

Anke Brinkhus has been a specialist tax lawyer since 2008.
Since April 1st , 2016 Anke Brinkhus is a judge of Anwaltsgericht Celle.
Anke Brinkhus advises and accompanies companies within the framework of tax and customs audits. She acts as a defence counsel for individuals in criminal tax law and administrative offence proceedings. She is also active in consulting with regard to voluntary self-disclosure.
Anke Brinkhus has substantial experience in negotiations with the financial and customs administration. Here, she has acquired special knowledge, among others, in the areas of voluntary self-disclosures, final settlements, enforcement negotiations and the averting of fiscal arrest. She wrote her Master’s dissertation on the topic of “Final settlement in taxation proceedings and criminal tax proceedings”.
Anke Brinkhus also advises with regard to profit skimming measures in criminal proceedings.
Anke Brinkhus regularly gives talks and publishes articles on criminal tax topics.
