Heiko Hellwege advises predominantly German SMEs in all phases of structuring under company law and is a member of the Advisory Board or Supervisory Board of such companies. This entails the accompaniment in and out of court of shareholders and managers, for example within the framework of arbitration proceedings, including as an arbitration judge.

He is a member of the association “Die Familienunternehmer - ASU” (“Family Entrepreneurs - ASU”) and the “Netzwerk der Informations- und Kommunikationsindustrie in Osnabrück e. V.” (“Network of the Information and Communication Industry in Osnabrück”)

Heiko Hellwege has been a lawyer for Schindhelm in Osnabrück since 1991, originally as part of the legal department of the SOCIETÄTS-TREUHAND GROUP established by Prof. Dr. Malte Schindhelm; since 1999 as a managing shareholder.

Between 1999 to 2004, he was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers AG, management consultancy, Osnabrück.

In 1987, state examination within the framework of the single-stage training for jurists in Bielefeld, followed by work as a research assistant at the chair of Prof. Dr. Hommelhoff.

In 2006, appointed honorary professor at the University of Osnabrück.
